Introduction & Quality Engineering Standard
Designed by industry-leading automotive and motorcycle engineers, Maeving vehicles integrate premium structural design with state-of-the-art electric powertrains. This warranty applies directly to original retail buyers as well as international fleet buyers, distributors, and subsequent owners.
All warranty service, diagnostics, and component replacements are conducted using genuine OEM Maeving parts to guarantee strict adherence to original factory performance and safety specifications.
1. Maeving Vehicle Warranty (2-Year / 24-Month Unlimited Mileage)
Maeving provides a comprehensive 24-month unlimited mileage warranty covering structural, mechanical, and electrical vehicle assemblies against factory defects in material or craftsmanship under standard operating conditions.
- Structural Chassis & Suspension: Main tubular steel frame, swingarm, front telescopic forks, rear shock absorbers, and mounting hardware.
- Control Systems & Bodywork: Handlebar control modules, digital instruments, storage tanks, battery housing cases, controller enclosures, seats, and factory paint finishes.
- Brake Assemblies: Front and rear caliper housings, master cylinders, and brake fluid reservoirs (excluding friction pad wear).
2. Battery & Drivetrain Warranty (3-Year / 36-Month or 22,000 Miles)
Our advanced dual removable battery architecture and electric powertrain are covered by an extended 36-month or 22,000-mile warranty (whichever occurs first) from the original delivery date.
- Removable Lithium-Ion Battery Packs: High-density removable batteries, internal battery management systems (BMS), and power interfaces.
- Powertrain Electronics: Dual-battery management control units, drive motor controllers, high-efficiency hub motors, and internal main power wiring harnesses.
Battery Performance & Capacity Guarantee
Lithium-ion batteries naturally exhibit minor degradation over extended operational cycles. Under this warranty, Maeving guarantees that battery capacity will remain above 80% of published nominal capacity during the coverage period. Any battery pack exhibiting capacity reduction exceeding 20% under standard testing protocol will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
3. Genuine Parts & Accessories Warranty (12-Month Coverage)
All official OEM Maeving replacement parts, charging accessories, and optional equipment purchased directly or through authorized service partners carry a 12-month warranty from the installation or delivery date.
Utilizing non-approved third-party parts or uncertified electrical modifications will void vehicle warranty protections.
4. Operating Requirements & Owner Care Standard
To preserve maximum performance, reliability, and warranty validity, riders and commercial partners must comply with the following maintenance and operational guidelines:
- Strictly adhere to the scheduled service cycles and maintenance procedures outlined in the official Maeving Owner's Handbook.
- Service, repairs, and electrical diagnostics must be executed by Maeving Workshop engineers or approved authorized service centers.
- Only use official Maeving chargers, power cords, and factory-certified charging adapters.
- Follow recommended battery charging protocols: do not attempt charging below 0°C (32°F), and store battery units within specified thermal operational windows (-20°C to 60°C).
- Maintain correct storage state-of-charge (SOC) during periods of inactivity (keep SOC between 30% and 80% for long-term storage).
5. Warranty Exclusions & Operational Limitations
The standard warranty coverage excludes damages or failures resulting from normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, environmental exposure, or misuse:
- Routine wear-and-tear consumables including tires, brake pads, handlebar grips, drive belts, and fork oil seals.
- Damage resulting from off-road stunt riding, competitive racing, commercial vehicle overloading, or severe accident impacts.
- Unapproved modifications to the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), powertrain control software, or odometer system.
- Corrosion caused by lack of proper routine washing after exposure to salt air, road de-icing chemicals, or industrial atmospheric fallout.
- Vehicles operated with uncertified third-party charging hardware or aftermarket high-voltage alterations.
6. Global Partner Support & Ownership Transferability
The Maeving Warranty is fully transferable to subsequent owners for the remaining duration of the original warranty period upon registration update with Maeving customer support.
